ZEO-PFAS Destruction
Effectively destroying forever chemicals
In partnership with Element Six (E6), our Zimpro Electro-Oxidation (ZEO)-PFAS Destruction technology provides a complete and final solution for eliminating harmful “forever chemicals” (PFAS) from water and wastewater streams. The system uses the industry’s only free-standing, 100% boron-doped diamond (BDD) electrodes to drive a powerful, high-output oxidation reaction. The term free standing indicates that the electrode is composed entirely from boron doped diamond with no coatings or substrates. The reactions created by these electrodes break notoriously resilient carbon-fluoride bonds, which is the key to destroying the contaminant. Conventional filtration methods only capture PFAS for later disposal; this technology offers a path to permanent destruction, helping customers eliminate environmental liability and safeguard public health.

Zimpro Wet Air Oxidation
A comprehensive solution for treating high strength wastewater such as caustic waste
Zimpro Wet Air Oxidation (WAO) is a process for destroying high-strength, toxic industrial wastewater, sludges, and spent caustic streams. The technology subjects the liquid waste to high temperatures and pressures in a contained vessel. In this environment, oxygen is forced into the liquid, which oxidizes and breaks down complex, hazardous organic compounds into simpler, safer ones like CO2, water, and biodegradable acids. This method offers a reliable, on-site solution for complete contaminant destruction, eliminating the high costs associated with off-site disposal or incineration.

Powder Activated Carbon Treatment
Driving water quality to levels needed for reuse
Our Powdered Activated Carbon Treatment (PACT) system is a process that simultaneously biologically treats the water while it removes difficult, non-biodegradable organic pollutants. It combines conventional biological treatment with the powerful adsorption properties of powder activated carbon in a single, synergistic step. The activated carbon adsorbs unyielding compounds and toxins, protecting the biological system. This results in a higher quality effluent and a sludge that dewaters more efficiently. This proven and cost-effective solution allows industrial facilities to meet stringent environmental regulations and enables the potential for water reuse. With the addition of our WAR technology, the activated carbon can be regenerated on site while simultaneously eliminating more than 90% of the biological solids greatly reducing operational costs.
